In 2017 Sogetsu School added Textbook 5 to their 1, 2, 3, and 4 teaching curriculum books.
A Sogetsu Textbook 5 special training session organized by Yuuma S.G. in Jordan and conducted by Master Instructor Sanae Maeda has been held in Amman \ Jordan on April 30th 2018 at Rama Hall at Century Park Hotel in Amman.
47 Sogetsu learners from Jordan, Dubai and Saudi Arabia attended the session and received a certificate.
On May 2nd Master Instructor Sanae Maeda conducted a morning session workshop demonstrating lesson 4 from Textbook 5 “Green Plant Materials” , and lesson 8 “In a Suiban without Kenzan” , and an afternoon session workshop demonstrating lesson 15 from Textbook 5 “Miniature Ikebana”, and from Textbook 4 lesson 10 “Vegetables and or fruits in an arrangement.
On May 3rd Master Instructor Sanae Maeda demonstrated 6 different techniques used to hold branches in tsubo vases in a workshop for Diploma holders only. Participants chose one of the techniques to arrange their Ikebana in a tsubo vase.
Participants were amazed and felt they benefited a lot from the training session and the workshops. They gained deeper knowledge in the art of Sogetsu Ikebana.
