Huda Rizk Fallaha is a graduate from The Lebanese American University ,holding a bachelor of science degree in chemistry .
She started her Ikebana studies in Beyrouth Lebanon during her university
years .She earned degrees from the most prestigious Ikebana Schools ;
Advanced from the Ikenobo , the Masters Fourth Term Course of the Ohara
School ,Teachers Diploma 2nd Grade Sanyo from The Sogetsu School .She attended Ikebana courses
in Tokyo in 2001 ,2006 and 2017 .She regularly upgrade her skills by attending
Sogetsu Workshops in Dubai and Cyprus.
She is a member of The Sogetsu Teaching Association , and has been teaching
Sogetsu Ikebana regularly since 2006 .
2008 established The First Study Group belonging to The Sogetsu School not only in Jordan but in all The middle Eastern Region .
Huda joined Ikebana Internationa in 1991. She served on the Board of the Jordan Chapter for 10 years and was the president from 2002 to 2004 .
In 2005 acted as The Chairperson of Ikebana International First Middle Eastern Regional Conference held in Amman .She also served as The Middle
East representative at the Resolutions Committee during Ikebana international World Conferences held in Japan in 2001 ,2006 and 2017
Huda Founded ” The Friends of Nature Club ” in 2001 to provide members with opportunities to study Jordan s flora .
Her interests include gardening as well as painting .
